Words Breed
Legacy rattles in my head.
What will I leave behind?
Will what I’ve written help someone in need?
When this body is dead,
Will my words produce seeds or weeds?
Words breed.

I’m taking part in several poetry challenges. Most prompts include a word prompt; this one did not. It’s been a lot of fun. I’ll post another poem soon.
I do think of this topic often. Do you?

This is excellent, Kaci. I love your seeds or weeds phrase. 💖
Seeds or weeds? Hehe. I like how you put that. I've often wondered what influence my words would have in decades after I'm gone, if any. Awesome post, Kaci.
